Day 1: Exploring the Temples of Angkor

We begin our adventure at 8:00 a.m., where we will warmly welcome you to the hotel for a day full of history and beauty. Our first stopover takes you to the temple of Pre Rup, a marvel of the 10ᵉ century, testimony to the reign of King Rajendravarman II. Continuing our journey, we will reach the fascinating Banteay Samrè, a 12ᵉ century building partially overgrown by vegetation, reminiscent of a connection between man and nature.

After an exquisite lunch in a local restaurant, we will venture 40 km from the main site to discover the sublime temple of Banteay Srei. This jewel in pink sandstone, renowned for its delicate bas-reliefs, will seduce us with its artistic splendour. The highlight of the day is the visit of Angkor Wat, a majestic temple dating from the 12th century, erected during the reign of King Sauryavarman II. This architectural marvel will end our day, bringing us back to the hotel around 5 p.m., stars in our eyes.

Day 2: Legends Carved in Stone

A new day of adventure begins at 8:00 AM, this time exploring the legendary Ta Phrom, famous for its presence in films such as Tomb Raider. Between tree roots and ruins, this temple paints a picture of unique beauty. Then we head to the Eastern Mebon complex, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan, offering a variety of perspectives on Cambodian history and culture from the 12th century.

After a tasty meal in a local restaurant, we will delve into the heart of the kingdom of Angkor, with gems such as Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, the terrace of the Elephants and the terrace of the Leper King. Each monument tells its own story, adding a new dimension to our immersion in Cambodian history. Our day full of discoveries will end around 5 p.m., when we return to the hotel.
